Let me give a bit more of a personal background for myself. My name is Xander Corcoran. I go by the alias "IXtimes" often online and when I credit my work, and I am currently a college student persuing my Bachleor's Degree in Computer Science entering my Junior year. My plan is to graduate in 2026 as of now!

Other than that, if you have seen some of my art displayed in my gallery I have quite a few hobbies beyond just the programming stuff related to this portfolio. In my side time I have a few games that I mainly like to play, including Battle Cats, Splatoon, Beat Saber, and one-off games from time to time. I more-less enjoy creating rather than playing, but I do hold myself to playing these IPs often.

Other than some gaming, I also do a lot of my art in my spare time. I've been keeping up with an art log for the year of 2024 every day since the turn of the year. Some of those artworks are actually displayed on the front page to give a bit more of an identity to me :).

Going back to what this site is all about, I REALLY enjoy working on the stuff I have on display here. Game design is one of my favorite hobbies, and I still keep up with it to this day with projects that I am currently working on. I have a lot of ideas still cooking in my head for games to make so I will have plenty to share in the future :). I am anticipating that I will more-less keep game design as a hobby and with my value of free games plan to release all of my game projects under this portfolio for free (for now, we'll see if I change my mind in the future :p)

While game design is a huge passion of mine, I plan to enter more of a web/application development field in the future so I also have a lot of projects dedicated to working in those mediums. That being said, I still like to have fun with these projects as well and try new functionalities or apis that I have always dreamed of working with when I was kid. In case you missed it you can see all of my game, website, and application projects under the "Projects" tab if you are interested in learning more about them and possibly open to try some of them out.

With all that out of the way, I think you can see that I can be a bit of a fun silly nerd :).
